Reindeer Redhots

Reindeer Redhots, as seen in the July 2012 Costco Magazine cover story about food trucks and Food & Wine magazine Nov. 2007, has been a locally owned and run family business since 2004, featuring a quick meal of reindeer or all beef hotdogs served on a gourmet bun with all the fixings, with a variety of chips & drinks, and friendly service.

We feature wild Alaska reindeer, from the Native corporation on Nunivak Island. Indian Valley Meats, a big game processor located outside of Anchorage, flies in our casing free hotdogs and polish sausage. Not interested in reindeer meat? We also feature a 100% all beef Kosher hotdog. All products are ¼ lb before cooking.

You have a choice of cracked wheat or outdoor style bun, warm chili and sauerkraut, all the condiments you can hold, and a variety of chips and drinks.

Conveniently located at the main (& only) downtown intersection (& only downtown stop light) across from Crescent Harbor dock, we're next to the wooden bear on the corner of Lincoln and Lake Streets. We're near shopping, museums, hiking and historical sites.

Dine outdoors, stay dry under our red tent if it is raining, or take your meal to go. We don't mind giving directions or answering questions.

Kids are welcome, we have a great view and we can even share our Alaska stories with you, like how we came to Sitka from Florida.
